Desert Island Discs in the Rain

Demis Hassabis, artificial intelligence researcher, is guest on Radio 4's Desert Island Discs this morning. His first piece of music is the "Tears in Rain" music by Vangelis and soliloquy by Rutger Hauer toward the end of the film "Blade Runner". What a treat.

I don't know where this version came from. They even have a video for it. But this is not the version on the original album... Yes, I bought the original in vinyl when it was originally released, and I know..

But this is a great compliment to the song, and I am delighted to share it, albeit nearly 10 years after it was originally published...
