Anyone up for a bittersweet trip down Memory Lane to the 1980s...?

I grew up on stuff like this... thanks to my dad. Enjoy, if you will...

In 2011 an unusual film, called Another Earth, was released.




I don't know if it counts as an "indie film" or if it is really in the "low budget" category. But it's not blockbuster material and it is a bit arty. But it is also a bit sci-fi. IMDB classify the film as sci-fi, but it's not a Twelve Monkeys, Star Trek or Armageddon. However, it does use a science fiction backdrop to tell a story, explore concepts and emotional predicaments.

Another Earth is an immensely thoughtful film. It touches on fate, remorse, self-punishment, healing and redemption. It is well worth a watch, and this is not just because Brit Marling is in it and stunning.

There is also some remarkable music attached to the film. Click the picture below to listen to it. It's amazing.
